Spring Recital Note 2022

Hey all! 
Our recital is MONDAY! I can't wait to share everything that we've been working on. It's going to be an amazing show!
 
Show: Our end of year Spring Review will be on Monday June 6th 2022 at the Logan High School Auditorium. The show begins at 6:30 pm, dancers will need to arrive ready to dance (this means in full costume hair and makeup with their dance shoes) at 6:00 pm. 
 
DRESS REHEARSAL: We will hold a mandatory dress rehearsal that morning from 9:30-11:30 am at the auditorium. We have limited time so please do not be late- plan for dancers to be ready on the stage at 9:15 am.
Dancers will need to wear their costume, recital tights, and pink ballet shoes (juniors have tan jazz shoes and seniors have half soles). This dress rehearsal is closed to an audience unless you have a dancer under the age of 5 that needs assistance. I will have class helpers to stay with your dancers the entire time. 

Tights: *If you need new tights, you can get them by visiting The Dance Shop at 521 N Main in Logan. Please don’t send your dancer on the stage with rips or stains on their tights. The Dance Shop is only open Monday-Thursday 1:00-5:30 pm so please plan ahead! Tinys Minis and Juniors will need to ask for footed tights- lighter skin complexions need “light suntan”, medium skin tones need “suntan” and darker skin tones have several varieties to choose from with varying names.

Hair + Makeup: Tiny and Mini dancers can have their hair however they'd like for the performance as long as it's pulled out of their eyes. Makeup is completely optional, but we recommend blush and lipstick to avoid being washed out by the stage lights. (Juniors and Seniors will do competition hair and makeup)
 
Tickets: The recital fee is due June 1st, it includes 4 recital tickets per family. Additional tickets may be purchased at the door for $10/each. (Dancers do not need a ticket). Tickets will be passed out in class this week for those who have paid. 
 
*RECITAL VIDEO + PHOTOGRAPHY: I’m super excited to announce that I’ve hired an AMAZING photographer/videographer team (Good Samaritan Photography) to record the entire show as well as take photos of every routine. NO personal photo or video will be allowed. You can order the photos and video by sending $15 via Venmo to @nvnatalie, I will also accept cash orders this week leading up to the show (please no cash orders the day of the recital because I’ll be too distracted to keep track.)

Spring classes will end June 3rd- have a happy summer!!
